On The Move

A very sympathetic man obtained a bison bull that had been neglected and was living in deplorable conditions.  He decided that this magnificent creature should have a better life, so he negotiated an arrangement with Wilderness Road State Park in Ewing, Virginia (which already had a small bison herd), and purchased the animal at his own expense, loaded it onto a trailer, and transported it to the park. The bison now has reasonable space to roam at will, with his own kind, and shall live out his remaining days in relative contentment. He is the huge bull on the extreme left side of the painting.
